Adam Smith

Biography
Adam Smith is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the UCL School of Management. He joined UCL in 2017 after completing his PhD in Marketing from The Ohio State University. Adam also holds an MS in Statistics and a BA in Economics from Ohio State.
Adam is on leave from UCL for the 22/23 and 23/24 academic years.
Research
Adam’s research interests include quantitative marketing, demand estimation, consumer heterogeneity, targeted marketing, and Bayesian statistics. His current research projects focus on the estimation of high-dimensional, multi-category demand models to better understand product category definition and optimal price promotion strategies.
