The UCL School of Management welcomed over 80 alumni to an exclusive alumni event at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha on Friday 24 May. This occasion served as a valuable opportunity for graduates to reconnect, share memories, and engage in discussions about the future of UCL SoM.
Alumni from a variety of UCL SoM programmes attended the event, including:
- BSc Information Management for Business (IMB)
- MSc Management (MM)
- UCL MBA with Peking University (UCL PKU MBA)
- Management module students from The Bartlett at UCL
They were joined by UCL School of Management Director Professor Davide Ravasi, Deputy Director Professor Alan Parkinson, MBA Programme Director Michael Manlangit, Teaching & Learning Manager Michelle Tinsley, and Postgraduate Administrator for MBA PKU Joe Tilley. We also welcomed Martin Lockett, External Examiner for the UCL PKU MBA, and Katie Zhāng, President of the UCL Alumni Beijing branch.
Professor Davide Ravasi kicked off the evening with an inspiring update on UCL SoM’s ambitious expansion and evolution plans. His insights into the future trajectory of the school were met with enthusiastic applause and smiles from the audience.
UCL SoM values its extensive network of Chinese students and alumni, recognising their contributions and cherished memories of their time at UCL. The event was a testament to the vibrant and supportive alumni community in China, reinforcing the commitment to fostering a robust global alumni network.
A special thank you to Alex Redmond, Julia Chapman, Eric Hok Yin Man, and Joe Tilley from UCL SoM for their exceptional efforts in organising the event.
We look forward to building a stronger UCL School of Management alumni community worldwide.
