The UCL School of Management received the award for three exceptional initiatives; the UCL Sustainability Lab, Analytics Lab, and Global DigitalHack. All of which are catalysts for the UCL MBA’s interconnected experience, resonating with students, alumni, businesses, and industry experts. These initiatives have significantly enriched contributions to students, graduates, alumni networks, and custom and executive education. 

The labs bring current students from across UCL, and MBA alumni together with industry leaders. The various labs invite participants to engage with issues in collaboration with different businesses. 

The design allows businesses to look to academia to aid their challenges, and students and alumni to engage with real-world practical issues, beyond their degree. Most importantly alumni provide the network and foundation of the design, by returning their businesses to the labs, continuing a cycle of life-long learning. 

In attendance at the Gala Dinner, Dr Rikke Duus, Dr James Berry, and Gabriel Brook-Sulman proudly accepted this achievement.

James Berry, Director of the UCL MBA programme and an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the UCL School of Management, shared a few words:
