As the year draws to an end, we are looking back at The School of Management’s talented staff, students and alumni’s biggest achievements from 2019.
Our students and faculty have achieved many outstanding things throughout the year, so it was difficult to select just a few. But we’ve narrowed it down to our top 5 highlights of 2019.
Three SoM alumni from Entrepreneurship Programme feature in Forbes 30 under 30.
This year we had an incredible THREE alumni from our MSc Entrepreneurship programme featured on the Forbes Europe 30 under 30 2019 list.
The 30 under 30 lists are produced each year by Forbes, and are compiled by experts from across Europe to ‘spotlight the impressive, the inspiring and the (genuinely) enviable.’
We’re extremely proud of our talented entrepreneurs and their fantastic business initiatives.

Launch of The UCL MBA - Global and Online
This September we welcomed our first cohort of talented students from across the globe onto our newest programme - The UCL MBA, global and online. We’ve partnered with 2U, the American technology company, to launch a unique classroom-based MBA that is delivered online, focussing on data analytics, innovation management and entrepreneurship to help inform critical business decisions.
We’re the first programme to offer live weekly sessions and have four intakes per year, making the programme the perfect flexible option for professionals looking to set themselves aside from the rest in the world of business.
So far the programme has been a huge success and we have received fantastic feedback from our students, and are looking forward to welcoming our second cohort in January 2020.
