We are thrilled to share that a manuscript co-authored by UCL School of Management Assistant Professor Angela Aristidou and Honorary Research Fellow Lei Liu has received two awards from the Academy of Management, a pioneering professional association for management and organisation scholars. Receiving awards in two separate categories, the manuscript offers innovative insights into the dynamics of collaborations between the public and third sectors.
The manuscript received the Best Paper Award, as well as the Best International Paper Award in the Public and Nonprofit Division, and explored the ways in which strong partnerships between public and third sector organisations can subsequently promote and predict benefits to both businesses and society as a whole. An international body, the Academy of Management is made up of scholars and PhD students conducting research on management and organisations.
Angela Aristidou specialises in strategy and entrepreneurship at UCL School of Management and is a Fellow at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence. Lei Liu is a Lecturer in Management at the University of Exeter Business School and specialises in interpersonal processes. She is particularly interested in how people collaborate in innovative ways to solve societal problems.
