UCL School of Management is delighted to announce the launch of a new joint MRes/PhD scholarship with the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT).
We invite applications for our new full-time joint MRes/PhD scholarship between the Behavioural Insights Team and any one of the four research groups at the UCL School of Management. We seek to recruit ambitious students with strong educational and policy backgrounds. The scholarships are open to all nationalities, cover tuition fees, and include an annual (tax-free) stipend of £18,500. Please find the details of the programme here on the PhD page.
Our joint scholarship offers a unique education, research, and policy experience to highly motivated students, with the intent of preparing them for scholarly careers with impact on policy and practice. The UCL SOM PhD programme consists of five years of full-time study, starting with one year of courses registered as MRes (Master of Research). The ideal candidate will be in the top 10% of their graduating class from a leading university, and have significant experience with policy. We require candidates to take the GMAT or GRE test. A Master’s or graduate level degree is not required for admission. As well as studying and researching at UCL SOM, students will spend time at the Behavioural Insights Team, where they will have access to the team’s in-house training, and will be expected to work on projects as part of their PhD alongside BIT colleagues, providing access to field sites and data for research that would not otherwise be possible.
