Joe Gladstone, Assistant Professor of Consumer Behaviour, has won the best paper award at the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning, which comes with a $2500 prize.
Joe received the ‘BMO Wealth Management Best Paper Award in Consumer Finance’ for his work co-authored by Dr. Emily Garbinsky of the University of Notre Dame, titled The Consumption Consequences of Couples Pooling Financial Resources.
“The quality of papers submitted for this first Academic Research Colloquium was very high, making for difficult decisions during the double-blind review process,” said Dr. Charles Chaffin, the Center’s Director of Academic Home.
