Find Your Future: Divine Kudzewlor & Joshua Lee lead masterclass for PG students

On 09 October, UCL alumni Divine Kudzewlor, Strategy Manager at the BBC, and Joshua Lee, Associate Manager at Accenture, delivered an insightful consulting masterclass for the 2024/25 postgraduate students as part of UCL School of Management’s Careers offering, designed to help students explore different career pathways and gain valuable skills for their future careers.

The session focused on the practical application of consulting skills, offering a real-world perspective on the industry’s challenges and opportunities. Divine and Joshua shared their career journeys and the key lessons they’ve gained throughout their experience, which they now apply in their roles at the BBC and Accenture. They discussed essential skills for navigating the consulting landscape and the value of a methodical, structured approach to problem-solving.

During the session, students tackled a profitability case study designed not only to simulate the types of challenges consultants face in practice but also to help them develop a better approach to case interviews. This activity encouraged participants to think critically, break down complex problems, and explore solutions collaboratively – reflecting the analytical skills essential to consulting work.

The event reinforced UCL School of Management’s commitment to industry-led learning by offering invaluable exposure to how leading organisations approach innovation and problem-solving in a rapidly evolving world.
